This is hockey at its best. No fat contracts. No agents. No recriminations. Just a bunch of "has beens" and "never weres" and "wishful thinkers" who get together each Sunday night from September through early April at Merivale Arena.

The league has 8 teams. Each team has 11 players plus a goalie. You must be 40 or over as of December 31 to play. There is no body contact and no slap shots. We run a two referee system (with no linesmen). Rough play, deliberate attempts to injure, intimidation  and fighting are not tolerated. It is a popular league and we have no trouble finding people who will abide by the spirit of the rules.

Games are at 6, 7, 8, or 9 PM Sunday night. Many people retire to a local pub [to be named soon] afterwards.
